TheRegionRat
Just biding my time. Will wait until tomorrow. Really want to go all in. Meanwhile, I'll just enjoy reading the analysis that members post. Plenty of snow maps available, which I label "for entertainment purposes only." ChiTownSnow
Looking at partial sampling by the models early Thursday?

RCNYILWX
Was clicking around weather.us and found out that you can view a bunch of the parameters for the individual Euro ensemble members, including at the all important 500 mb level. A nice way to check out what's needed to get to the more amped solution some of us are hoping for is by looking at the h5 evolution of the more amped members.Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Clipper system should have some sampling in tonight's runs. The southern branch of the main event looks to be onshore Thursday.

Chicago Storm
If anyone thinks today's 12z UKMET was south, just wait till you see the 0z NAM... By 84hr, the northern wave is already entering the northern Great Lakes, while the southern wave is digging south into Mexico.

We'll see how the rest of the 0z's come in.
zinski1990
Funny because the low is that far south yet still has the same area showing precip

Radtechwxman
If nam is right, then I will go streaking out in my current snowpack and make a snow angel. That's how confident I am that it is wrong. Lol

Malacka11
Jesus. Really curious to see if this is the ICON being the ICON or if a bump north will be tonight's theme.
Radtechwxman
That seems way too warm at the low levels. Esp that north into IL

Chicago Storm
The RGEM only goes to 48hrs, but it will be well north with the southern wave...especially compared to the NAM. This run likely wouldn't dig the southern wave too much, with the jet streak rounding the base of the trough already...compared to the NAM which has the jet streak on the backside of the trough, leading to the further digging. RGEM vs NAM...Might have to click it for it to loop.
