Yea man, it's dumping again. 8" is within the realm for sure. Love how the streets and sidewalks folded instantly like the chargers.

Yeah some of the best rates of the storm now.  8 inches easy.  and if the advertised pattern is even close to verifiying, this is just a small appetizer. Good if not Great times ahead.

...NUMEROUS SNOW SHOWERS IMPACTING BALTIMORE AND WASHINGTON DC
METROPOLITAN AREAS LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING...

At 405 PM EST, numerous snow showers were impacting the greater
Baltimore and Washington DC Metropolitan Areas. Visibilities will
drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in some of these snow
showers, creating hazardous road conditions in some areas. If you
are driving, please slow down and prepare for changing road
conditions.

These snow showers will continue through mid-evening, before
tapering to flurries around midnight. Temperatures will reach the
lower 20s in the region overnight, so refreezing is likely,
especially in those areas that have not been treated with salt or
snow melt.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads.

Going on hour 2 of our "shower"

Heaviest of the day even though the returns don’t look like it.  SN+

Yeah, this may be the heaviest yet here in Tenleytown as well. Maybe we're under the same band.

It feels good to be in the jackpot zone for a change. Even the biggest and best ones ... 2016, 2010, 1996 ... north and west got more. Which, of course, is totally to be expected. But I feel inside the Beltway is keeping pace with just about everyone with this one.

Just can't get the heavies here.  Been light tiny needle flakes stuff for the last hour or so.  Accumulating, but slowly.

We are on the wrong side of the event this time.  But hey, were usually the ones cashing in while Ian and Randy suffer through 4" of slop.

Just went for a walk - really lovely out with the snow falling even though the heavy stuff you all are getting isn’t here. Still hoping a band gets here and then pushes up to Mappy and Hoff.

Hoping so too.  I would love a random day off tomorrow, but I'm getting more doubtful it happens.
