Just had my mother’s funeral on Thursday so this is a spirit lifter. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Lost my mom in July and miss her very much. She didn’t particularly like snow, but she would always patiently listen to my crazy excitement over the latest snow forecasts and fantasy snow models. I told my dad in Southern MD that he needed a snow blower this winter. It was delivered today. 3

I know it's a difficult time you're going through but at some point you'll have to come to grips with 1) you're getting more than 4" of snow and 2) your analysis is terrible 9 1
Rhode Islander in Balto
Went out for a walk at 6:15, barely snowing tiny flakes. About halfway through, you could see the dendritic growth start, and the crystals getting visibility larger. Sidewalks and streets started to cave pretty quickly. When we got in it was coming down pretty good, with beautiful fluffy dendrites falling. 28 / 25 in Parkville with SN+

jayyy
These flakes are wonderful. Steady light to mod snow is accumulating quite rapidly. Flakes are enormous. Snow growth upstairs is looking quite nice up here in central MD. Still think the area between Bob Chill in Rockville and BWI / Howard / AA county does superb between being far enough south for QPF and far enough north for much better snow growth than dc and points south. Ratios for central md And points north will exceed 12:1 in my view. Of course better as you climb north in latitude.
