NorthArlington101
Solid -SN in Charlottesville. Heaviest of the day. Can actually see visibility dropping as I walk down a larger stretch of road. Appreciate the AFD emphasizing that south of Charlottesville is where the mixing is most expected, lol. Bob Chill
Finally getting consistent very light snow but i can see the rockville death band to the south ready to move in. The real fun starts later tonight when yellows start showing up on radar...

SnowCane
Hey everyone, This is my first post and I just wanted to say this is a great discussion and I couldn't be more thankful to be following along. I'm moving to Gaithersburg, MD next Tuesday from Mobile, AL and was actually supposed to drive up this weekend but I delayed because of the storm. I'm a weather enthusiast and while living on the gulf coast, I typically follow the models closely during hurricane season. It's been fascinating seeing the posts here regarding winter storms because y'all follow these winter low pressure's just like we follow tropical low pressure systems in the Caribbean/gulf. Enjoy the snow!

BlackCat
My first post here! Hello from Annapolis - I just put up the last of the bird feeders and it started lightly snowing here. I have been lurking in this forum for well over 5 years, but I have never joined or posted. I love to follow winter storms and this forum is the only place I really trust to get my forecasts (including the great meteorologists here). I hope everyone gets some snow action tonight and tomorrow. Cheers, BC
