JakkelWx
I have returned from grotto's pizza. Looks like 12z models look just a little better than 06z. Based on short-term models and trends, NWS Mt Holly could use a little constructive criticism for hedging a little low on snow totals, at least for the central (where I am) and the southern areas. Northern areas could use a little tweaking with the snow maps as well.

They are likely very busy, taking in a lot of info very quickly for a pretty tough forecast, working on a Saturday after many weeks without pay and no end in sight, all over a dumb political impasse. I think they're doing a great job considering the circumstances they're in.

Fozz
I don't know when the snow was expected to start for the western crowd @clskinsfan @EastCoast NPZ, but from my experience, an early start is a great sign. Enjoy this one!

You guys probably have less mixing concerns than I do.
