Since LWX changed the format in the text when they issue watches, warnings, etc. they never include temperatures during event. You would think the general public might find this helpful. Kinda mind boggling

The change was nationally. Temperature info is in the actual forecasts.

For the Mason-Dixon crew, CTP just hoisted this to the Susquehanna River so you're probably set for a 2" - 4" event:

18z nam is a nice run but I'm always so skeptical of the model that I generally only believe it when other guidance looks the same. Either way it's a solid run with DCA hitting warning criteria.

Yeah, it's been bouncing around a decent bit. Still, a good start to 18z runs

12km looks like significant improvement to my weenie eyes.

i spoke too early.  dammit, i try not to do that now, too.  this is definitely a better run.  i guess there's more coastal impact now.  healthy, healthy run for md/va.

Congrats Dale City VA on WSW. I dont live there any more, but I will always be pulling for my hometown for heavy snows and Vodka Cold.

I hope you guys up in the Mid Atlantic get clobbered hard with snow!

Stock up on stout then get out and enjoy a good jebwalk with headphones blasting and Jebman Shovel in hand. Check out the yuge snowflakes blowing past the streetlights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
