FallsLake
Looking at the crappy Tropical Tidbits maps, the euro looks to have a slight stronger CAD signal at hr 96. Low is maybe a little south (..hard time to ascertain from the maps).
BullCityWx
Much wetter surface reflection at 108 this run.

Looks like at 120 it's further north, stronger, and not transferring yet to the coast? CAD high looks stronger. Don't know what that translates to, but I don't like how far north the storm is, half way up Alabama.
PackGrad05
Well it isn't going to plow into a high pressure system, so maybe some overrunning occurs with the strong CAD.
HKY_WX
12z euro is around a .5 qpf of mixed precip (Snow/Sleet/Freezing Rain) for RDU per accuweather pro output. Your normal run of the mill NC slop fest.
BullCityWx
Looks like mostly sleet and freezing rain for the major population areas in N.C. this run.

I dont think it could be any closer. The wife and I are looking at a move somewhere north of Hillsborough in the next 2 or so years. She wants to live near the barn where she rides horses and I wanna get away from the bustle/sleet of Raleigh lol.... Looking forward to escaping the transition line that is Wake County. /:
NCSNOW
Over.80 qpf most of NC west of US 1. Goes up to and above 1.0 for central VA. Big jump up in qpf from oz euro. Big trend is all guidance is more amped up( qpf) which shouldn't surprise no one.

I've done well for the last three years, but I seem to always be right near the line. I would love to see that line push down into Johnson county for at least one storm. Hard to use but here you go: https://weather.us/model-charts/euro/2019010812/north-carolina/acc-total-precipitation/20190114-0000z.html That would be a nice snow storm for NW NC folks into VA. It would be a major ice storm for the "Crescent cities of NC" (Charlotte to Triad to Triangle).
