homedis
I just landed at ORD. Nothing happening here currently. ORD is in a weird spot rn. I’m 10 miles north in Northbrook and the ground already has a dusting with snow falling at a decent rate.
ILSNOW
same here in Buffalo Grove nice dusting pretty quickly.
SchaumburgStormer
Solid light snow continues to fall. Around an inch on the ground. My second kiddo is scheduled to be delivered by induction on Monday morning. Hoping he holds off, as I am not real thrilled with the idea of us (plus all the other moving parts) having to be out and about today.

Radtechwxman
This band near and north of 74 has been dumping nicely. Measured 5-6in here so far. The band is kind of oscillating around but still snowing at a decent clip. Hrrr/rap showing an additional 5-7in. Hope that's right and I will have my first double digit snow in years! I was wondering the same, the axis has moved north of I-70 in Indiana & Ohio looking like for the rest of the day and I think it was supposed to stay south of it. Anyone know if that massive dry slot over KY and southern IN/OH is going to fill back in? BTW - Just under 2" so far IMBY on the SE side of Dayton. There could be a little, but the thermodynamic setup is marginal so we are talking about a minimal contribution at best.

CoalCityWxMan
Snowing pretty heavily at the moment, there’s been some decent banding between here and Pontiac this morning. Hard to believe it’s going to snow for another 12+ hours
Hoosier
Eyeballing about a 1/2" so far. Better returns not too far to the south. So close yet so far.
Chicago WX
Pounding. I smell an overachiever, relative to my expectations anyways.
NCIWxGuy
Up to 4.7". Frustrating to see that heavy band from Pontiac to the Quad Cities sit 5 miles to my south, but we're still way higher than expectations. We probably end up in the 6-8" range, and leaning toward the higher end of that.

tuanis
Really coming down up here! Surprisingly earlier than I thought and heavier than I expected. Wasn’t sure we’d get much more than flurries, but it’s accumulating well.

tuanis
Roads already snow covered and a mess up here - nothing at all was pretreated as nothing was really expected. Grass is just about covered.
IWXwx
1.7" here in Huntington as of 1 PM (Eastern time). I'm expecting 3" in the northern part of the county with 5" in the southern part since the models have consistently showed our area on the northern fringe of the heavier amounts.
