gravitylover
I get the feeling that I'm just a hair too far southeast for the snow today too. Maybe I'll get fringed for a few minutes to get it to 6 days straight. That would be nice.
gravitylover
7 days straight now. Yesterday was white rain for a few minutes as the drizzle moved and there were flurries here about 2 hours ago for a little while. I wish we didn't have to have this upcoming reset but it's early yet.

Juliancolton
My low was 6 earlier. Some stations were down around 3 or 4F north of US-44, which leads me to believe a few of the coldest hollows touched 0.
CPcantmeasuresnow
8.8 this morning for the low, 8 straight days of solid snow cover. December an A so far through 8 days. Will drop to a B by Tuesday evening and hopefully back to an A by Wednesday afternoon. It hasn't been boring.
IrishRob17
I hate having to use some rock salt this morning knowing what’s coming later. Sitting at 34 currently with ice spots still around the house.

gravitylover
1" yesterday, precip shut off before midnight. 50* now with no frozen material left other than plow/shovel piles and lots of mud. Maybe we get an inch or so tomorrow morning, not gonna get my hopes up for more than that with the ground so warm and wet.
CPcantmeasuresnow
41° snow cover down to three inches exposing the sleet layer that fell on the first. Spiked up to 46 sometime during the night. Not loving the rain but still 10 days into December and there's been a solid snow cover every day, no complaints there. Hoping to cash in on a couple of inches tonight. The 17th-18th looking interesting to say the least, but way to far out for me to get excited yet. As always so much can change in a week.

Juliancolton
Two thoughts: 1) The NAM over the last couple runs has become more aggressive with fgn over the interior late tonight/early tomorrow. 2) We're gonna get rimed to heck and back. I think there is a heightened potential for little mesoscale features to enhance totals in a few spots. Maybe one of those deals where some school district gets 4" and calls a delay, and everyone goes "wtf" in neighboring towns after clearing a dusting off their cars. Juliancolton
Man alive... it feels like it's been raining for a month. Multi-day rainstorms around the shortest daylight hours of the year are atrocious. Making some headway on temp, at least. 34F now.
gravitylover
Well I've got as much snow as I was expecting and it looks like at least a few more hours before it's over. I'll take it

CPcantmeasuresnow
No additional accumulation from the last band that went through. Final tally 2.4 inches, now at 14.4 for the month. No complaints here, my ideal December so far. Well I could have done without the rain Monday and Tuesday which washed away the majority of the snow from the beginning of month but that's nitpicking. gravitylover
Ideal would have been no warmup and rain but yeah not so bad so far. Too bad it's about to be rinse and repeat. That was the easiest ~4" of wet snow I've ever shoveled. I caught it just before it froze on things so the wet layer was like a lubricant and everything just slid off. Other than a few crusty spots it was lighter than expected.
