IrishRob17
Looks like -10 will do it here for the low
Juliancolton
Seems -7.4F will do it. Respectable. Not negative teens like 14-15, but that's my third or forth subzero low of the season so far... not the hallmark of an all-time worst winter as this is often claimed

ForestHillWx
-6 was the lowest. New personal record in my Chester house. Coldest ive personally experienced was -20 in Loon Lake, NY I think sometime in 2010...

gravitylover
-4 @ 7am, I don't know if it was colder before that. That's still about 10 degrees warmer than the lowest low last year. ~13" of snowfall for the season so far, not feeling another 3' before it's all over so chances of making it to average are slim this year. I bottomed out at -5.6° this morning. Yesterdays squall was 0.6 inches bringing my seasonal to 20.9 inches. Another 30 or so this season to get to normal. I'm having serious doubts we even come close.

Juliancolton
I'm at that part of the winter now where I'm essentially immune to feeling cold, and I love it. 6F feels like room temp with fleece lined jeans and a winter coat... no hint of a chill at all. I know it sounds pretentious, but it's really amazing how quickly one can acclimate if spending a lot of time outdoors.

I donned the flannel lined pants, flannel shirt and vest today. No problems. I’ve probably skied 5 days this season where the wind chills were colder than today so mentally it’s no big thing.
CPcantmeasuresnow
0.7° About the same temperature right now as last night at this time. If the skies stay clear -10° may be in the cards tonight.

IrishRob17
-11 wound up being my low this morning. Interesting to note, while I've had plenty of below zero streaks in my 14 seasons here, this is the first time that I had back to back double digit below zero lows, -10 and -11.

CPcantmeasuresnow
The best I could do was -3.5° this morning, yesterday -5.6°. I'm not coming anywhere near the double digit sub zeros I was expecting and that occurred in NWNJ, northern Orange and Dutchess. 20 miles north of me seems to make all the difference the last couple of days when it's usually not that pronounced. I'm sitting with only about a 2.5-3 inch snow cover here, would that make such a difference as opposed to the 6-10 inch depth in the areas getting to -10° and lower? 1
