Over 700 days now without an inch in Central Park

In about a week, we should be able to get into second place for all time streaks without a calendar day of three inches of snow.

The park definitely had an inch during the early March storm last year. It just wasn’t measured properly. Not that it matters, it’s been a garbage streak.

I think that's why he mentioned a calendar day without 3 inches of snow, since that's an undisputed record lol.

what season is #1?

are we number #1 for longest streak without a 2" snowstorm (since that is also undisputed)?

1929 - 1932.

Right now is number one for most consecutive calendar days without two inches of snow.

The Park is about five weeks away from fifth place for most consecutive calendar days without four inches of snow.

This was taken in Feb 94 after the back to back storms at my parents house in linden, nj. I know ewr measured like 27" that week and this is a crapload of snow so I don't think we were too far off from that number. Buried is my mom's 72 challenger that was my car in high school

All-time largest snowfall at all 3 major NYC sites:
CPK 27.5"
JFK 30.5"
LGA 27.9"

Jackson Heights hit 34".

These were taken from Richmond Hill:

Started at 6am the morning of the storm, slept at the stadium and didn't get to leave till 3pm the next day when relief came.
