Leaving off the ZR/RA, storm total 4.7" from 0.97" LE, ratio 4.8 to 1. So far this snow season, my average ratio is 8:1. 20 winters' average here is 10.6. Makes for a dense pack, 19" this morning and probably close to 5" SWE. Roxy Rand Road, off Route 27 (Mile Hill Road) in New Sharon. Probably got 8" there yesterday at elev. 900'. Winter of In and Up continues..for now. 7" here over past few days, but 12"+ in the higher spots nearby looks like. Woodford 17", Landgrove VT 12". Mitch probably close to 12" I would think. That's what (Tom)@GYX was thinking, He was going to talk to the forecaster that did the PNS , To see if some were combined, They did put one out for the 8th, But even if they combined them, There are totals missing, So i don't know what there going to do, Always a tougher task when you get back to back storms. wxmanmitch
14" two day total. Still light snow even though it's clear sky overhead, which is not uncommon in a blocked upslope event.
WthrJunkyME
It was very difficult to guesstimate what we received, what with the wind. I was going to go with 5" and lucky guess according to totals Jeff had posted. After raining all morning yesterday, I never would've guessed it'd turn out to be such a memorable event. I know it was only 5", but the circumstances were pretty amazing. We were so wet here by noon and the temp was still well in the mid 30's, I thought there was no way we'd even achieve a dusting. At 4 pm this afternoon I had to drive the 15 miles to pick up the kid from school. It was a spectacular and sometimes scary ride when the wind kicked up and blew the snow off the trees across the road. Sometimes an instant whiteout. I'm still pretty amazed by it all.
