NAM gets NE MA with a nice little band to end it. Something that will have to be watched.

Most had walked away and justifiably so from looking at this, But it may have some last minute surprises for some down towards Ray, Definitely worth watching.

Given latest gyx map it could get interesting tomorrow morn but not sure I believe it.  Waiting for their discussion

Still waiting.  They did post WWA's for most of their CWA, 1-3" thru 1 PM tomorrow with IP/ZR mixed in, so the only way I'd get to 4-6 in that scenario would be a snow burst later in the afternoon.  Last time I saw 12+ hours of mix'n'mess suddenly blossom into 2-3" of quick snow was . . . never.  At least it will be a net gain in the pack.

I'm pretty skeptical, But if there would be a time, It would be with this one the way it tracks.

Latest from GYX.....

.SHORT TERM /6 AM WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT/...
Strong short wave trough currently associated with severe
weather out in northern Ohio will continue to move eastward
overnight tonight. This low will trigger SFC low pressure
development and very likely mesoscale banding. We are still
uncertain as to exactly where the mesoscale banding will set up
during the morning hours. However, where it does, a flip from
rain to snow with 1-3" rates will be quite possible, even
fairly close to the coast. The band should be pretty transient.
However, a somewhat brief but nearly stationary pivot point of
the band could allow some locations to pile up a decent amount
of snow (possibly low-end warning criteria) in a fairly short
amount of time. Took a blend of solutions at this time to derive
snowfall amounts which yields warning criteria in central
Somerset County and thus the warning there at this time.
However, it could be an interesting few hours south of the
mountains during the mid morning through early afternoon hours
with a period of very heavy snow and perhaps thunder after the
flip from rain. Trends will be watched closely.

u keep referencing 2-3” . This has potential for a solid 6” or so and it’s pretty obvious

I think like most they’re just really not sure. It’s a razors edge and the latest runs may start having them push it a little higher but we’ll see. A man can hope! Started to feel like winter again today going for a long walk in the woods with the dog with a fresh coating on the ground in the snow pack still in the woods. Felt real nice.  Perfect weather for track and wildlife. During the last five days we’ve seen bobcat tracks fox tracks raccoon tracks coyote tracks turkeys squirrels and rabbits along with lots of deer but we haven’t found a shed rack yet
