Indeed.  Always happens.   "You guys in DC enjoy it, I'll be smoking cirrus"

Storm time:  Wow!  I can't believe it, it's puking fatties outside!  Up to 3" in 12 minutes!!!

Meh and zzzzz sauce. That's only 15"/hr. @RDM experienced 18"+/hr snowfall rates.

Have you tried the meh sauce on a Big Mac though? It's absolutely heavenly.

In anticipation of this event we have Aslin brews chilling and a new snowblower ready to move that cold smoke.

Opinions wanted... how many inches before I fire up the snowblower for that first pass?

You’ll probably need a broom for this snow.  Or a leaf blower.

Anyone have weather records for Jan 2, 1994? Trying to see if it snowed that day out here.  Wxunderground data only goes back to 2000.

From what I have from MRB, 1/2/1994 was dry with a high of 46 and a low of 32.  But 1/3 had an inch of snow and 1/4 had another 3", for a 4" storm total.

Thanks.  The closest place reporting snow on the ground I could find was staunton.  2 in depth, but no precip that day.

The storm is getting much better organized, and it is heading straight for the Mid Atlantic with tons of fresh snow.

You better get your Jebman Shovels and truckloads of stout.

You're gonna need em.

Jeb, how do you like Texas? Are you adapting well and do you see yourself staying there for a long duration?
