smokeybandit
Got to 17. It was strange seeing temps rise as I went north instead of drop.
ErinInTheSky
Driving this morning was crazy. Every hill I'd climb, I'd go up 15 degrees on the car thermometer. Every path that went down into a small valley, it would drop to like 12 degrees.
poolz1
6 at the house this morning when I left at about 6am. Not quite a mile away and up a little in elevation the temp was 22. Really one of the most unique scenes this morning along the creek. Steam/fog had coated all the trees hanging over the creek. Hard to put into words but I have never seen anything like it locally. WVsnowlover
Incredible scenery this morning! A lot of random patches of fog that almost seemed to be frozen in place. Tree branches all coated with heavy rime. The sunshine peaking through made everything glimmer and shine. Very surreal scene!
Potvinsux
Been in Snowshoe during the last storm. So happy you guys over performed. Good snowpack from upslope. Looks amazing up here!

GramaxRefugee
My low in AAco was 13 when I left. Might've clicked down to 12 since. BWI seems to have recorded a low of 21. A bit strange. They're usually colder than my warm location. Andrews reported 13. Even Pax River was 16 link: https://forecast.weather.gov/obslocal.php?warnzone=MDZ014&local_place=Millersville MD&zoneid=EST&offset=18000 ETA: Manassas 4 f. (!) They look like trash. Eta: Stanley Cup Champions Trash mind you. We did the same exact crap last year too in February. We were laughable bad. I know, I went to a game in FL vs Panthers and we blew a 2 goal lead late and lost in OT. We SUCKED so much for like a month. We all know what happened though, so I’m not super concerned, but we need some adjustments. Laughable performance per my dad who unfortunately watched the whole thing lol. ErinInTheSky
The great meltoff seems to be happening here. Still good snowpack but on things like rocks and concrete, you can start to see it. I imagine by the end of the day they'll be bare. At least the yard is still white.

Jebman
I wish that storm was going to annihilate you all with snow this weekend. I feel your pain. Nothing makes me feel so good, as a massive snowstorm shellacking the Mid Atlantic.

AfewUniversesBelowNormal
NAM seems to be trending a little bit colder for the next storm. It's like 1-2" of QPF coming, so I'm watching it. Edit: Really surprised this storm isn't trending colder on the NAM..

There isn't much reason the WAR (Western Atlantic Ridge) should flex like that out of nowhere. Thanks for replying/discussion.
