Sun began peeking thru breaks in the clouds at 10:30, and 20 minutes later it went near instantly from flat calm to snow flying out of the trees at 35 mph.  Now more sun than cloud, pushing 40 and wind still roaring, trees almost snow-free, new snow settled an inch.

Steady light snow continues here. Small flakes but decent intensity. Eyeing about 1/10" but hard to tell with the wind.

I did see someone lugging the bag out at Falmouth CC. A little damp, but definitely a playable day.

I opted for the simulator indoors this morning. Cost me a 3 wood when the glue finally gave out on the head.

I think it means only a jack of 27" instead of 30". Hence the under.

Really? Mine is a 38" single stage and it will snow blow anything.

Dual stage. Just put on new fan, pulley and belt. If we get some fluffy snow I'll have a better idea if something isn't working alright

My 2-stage walk-behind Craftsman labored a bit in meltwater-enriched stuff today - tossed it 10 feet rather than 20 - but no real issue.  It was the 5-6" of gray waterlogged mush in mid-November that kept clogging the chute - that stuff was probably 3:2 ratio, pick up a handful and watch the water run thru your fingers.  Snow is quickly firming up as temps drop past 32, still windy but not like earlier.
