If 2.17" RA on 21-22 plus the 49° on the 22nd could only chop our solid 12" down to 7", this event won't do much to the glacial 10" left after Friday's kitchen sink.  I expect a net gain.

Latest 20z HRRR bumps up the totals some especially coastal plain and the coast, Not sure i believe it or not yet though.

18z NAM was more marginal here a couple hours earlier than previous runs. GFS is still cold through 5-6z. I may actually get out there and clear the snow after midnight since I’ll be up anyway. I don’t feel like shoveling glop at 6am.

This is what Im going to do.  Snowblower in position and ready to go.  I'll snowblow as late as possible or as soon as I see a mix starting.  My old snowblower will just get hung up in glop.  Want to get the driveway as close to bare so tomorrow's warmup will take care of anything before freezeup.

I’m not. leading edge sleet in these situations happens quite a bit when midlevels are moistening up and still somewhat cold. It even happens with 2m temps over 40° sometimes.
