wolfie09
That was a hybrid event on a NW flow which was alluded to by the NWS.. That's the event KBGM even recorded 2 feet.. Depends on the situation, multi bands is fair game for almost anyone in the county, single band usually with GB connection is south of oswego county..Fulton needs a single band WNW.. Rose plots say 270 vector is the least likely wind direction, redfield gotta get there snow somehow lol

CNY_WX
From 1995 until I retired in 2016 I commuted 60 miles one way daily to Utica. As a result my cars were always something reliable that got good gas mileage. I owned a 2002 and a 2007 Civic that had 117,000 and 183,000 miles respectively when I got rid of them. My current car is a 2012 Cruze with 137,000 miles. I am going to replace it in a couple of months and have pretty much decided on a Mazda CX-5. Since I have always gone bare bones with my cars (at least since 95) I am leaning toward getting the Grand Touring Reserve trim level to splurge a little. That’s the lowest level that offers the 2.4 liter turbo four. My wife drives a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek, orange of course! BTW, my Cruze has been great in snow even with all season tires. I never plowed through 6 inches of unplowed snow but it is a tank traveling the thruway.

TugHillMatt
BUF had a WSW for Oswego county with 8 to 15 inches. Globals show NE parts of the county getting hit hardest, while mesos show the north central part getting the worst. I know, regardless, the NAM 3k will have the southern half of Redfield getting much less. It seems to have a strong bias with that.

TugHillMatt
The inch of sleet/freezing rain I got last night is frozen solid and easy to walk on. CNY-WXFREAK
Ambient synoptic moisture within the dendritic snow growth zone will make for effective snowfall rates, with possible upstream connections to Lake Huron and Georgian Bay bringing snowfall rates 1 to 2 inches per hour. This will likely occur late in the day...over the Southern Tier and southern Boston Hills, as well as to the southeast of Lake Ontario.
