I don't know, this event just hasn't either sunk in or I really don't mind. Just has felt like a dream pattern for the mountains so I figure this must be the trade off. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes for me to mix out. I tend to stay fogged in with calm to nearly calm wind a lot in these setups. Recent meso-scale models support this thinking suggesting that the final highest QPF amounts may fall across CT and W MA, and will update forecast to reflect this thinking.
