For the December 31/January 1st wave. 12z CMC is rain, ICON rain, Euro is a whiff for the most part, ICON is a whiff, GFS is a whiff, Para is a moderate snowstorm.  What is there to say in this range?

He can’t handle verbatim posts.  Always has to spin optimistic.  The Para GFS was nothing spectacular and was the snowiest 12z run.

I have not found the Para GFS so far to be that useful, Its seems to have a cold bias, And according to the systems i have seen on them, I would have a healthy snow pack right now instead of realistic brown grass.

One model shows anything even remotely wintery for these parts. Calling for a light snow event is being dishonest about the look right now. Unless you are riding the para gfs 100%, that’s not what anything shows.

It is what it is. I’m sure we’ll have more chances after the New Year, but that particular system isn’t going to get it done

Actually if the Para has a cold bias then the track would be closer. The CMC always had a warm bias so the track would be further south. however, with the Euro being a whiff usually lends credence to more of a coastal graze instead of a hit. Still 5 days away.
