ma blizzard
IMO: less dynamic = cold rain / icy mess for some more dynamic = flip to accumulating snow Just gotta get the lift, but gotta like the 12z runs pending EURO
HoarfrostHubb
Cold rain, some sleet, some flakes... Could trand a bit better

40/70 Benchmark
I think it could end up as a few inches...especially n ORH county and ne MA. Maybe ice, too....

CoastalWx
It seems real marginal. I suppose there could be some elevated icing. Any snow seems like would have to come with a pretty good thump. The gfs soundings weren’t that hot.

Damage In Tolland
Maybe .25 of ice top off with 2-4” paster for areas away from coast . Not sure how much precip gets north of 90?

I know....its a long shot and I wouldn't forecast that, but its within the realm of tip's correction vector. The 00z EURO was very close.

I’d like to see guidance be a little more aggressive though.

We are going to see the n stream under modeled this season, I think....didn't pan out last week, and probably won't this week, but I think this will be especially true as the season ages. CoastalWx
Euro is still awfully mild in the mid levels, but it does try to go to town as it exit stage right.

Ginx snewx
Gonna be all about the omega to flip the precip. Ice seems minimal, sleet moreso. Euro is warm unless you are in the Berks, Monads

Euro is warm unless you are in the Berks, Monads I can't get a good feel on it. There's a lot of spotty ~0C 850s that bounce around which does seem to indicate flips to frozen with higher uvvs. I wouldn't rule out the low level cold overperforming in the CTRV either as that wetbulbed cooler air to the north drains down the valley. Maybe icier at BDL than NE CT?
