I had a pretty significant heart attack on Friday afternoon then a bunch of complications and I'm pretty much laid up for the next two months. No shoveling means I want no snow. Sorry all... Wow. I hope for a speedy recovery, happy that you are still here

Glad to hear you are OK and doing better now. There is always somebody that comes around after it snows and offers to shovel. So don’t worry about that.

At its peak I had full on whiteout on campus with the 4”/hr rates and 50mph gusts blasting snow between the tall buildings. That only lasted for about 2 hours. gravitylover
Thanks all YouYou all said get a neighborhood kid... In over 20 years I've never had an offer, there are no kids (boys) that shovel and the couple with blowers have never even cleared the plow pile so I can get the off the street. Dozens of times I'd come home and have to leave the car in the street for an hour just to clear enough room to get it in the driveway while the neighbors would blow theirs out in 15-20 minutes. Yeah man it's the friendly burbs Sorry after 8 days in the hospital I'm feeling pretty beat down. Bring on spring!

Around here we had around 15" of snow and 6 straight hours of zero visibility and blizzard conditions during the day- the most I've ever seen outside of the big Jan 2016 blizzard! bluewave
Gorgeous photo composite combining winter and summer aerial photos of NYC. I wouldn’t want the job of measuring snow in Central Park if there was ever a storm like this.
