bannerdude
Wrapping up at my location with some light flurries. Another 2" today brings my overall total to ~11.5" for the storm.
PackGrad05
It finally turned to snow here but is too light and radar returns are diminishing. Too little too late. What a bummer.
snowinnc
Just measured again and we picked up another inch so that brings us to 10” total. I seriously am still in shock!
SnowDeac
How much has compacted/washed away for you North Raleigh/Durham folks? Congrats, and stay safe on the roads once the refreezes start. I think the next two mornings will be the most dangerous part of the storm for you guys, and others.

My stepson and his family live near you. He just sent a video expressing his dissapointment at missing out on this storm. He's got a eighteen month old girl who he was dying to get out and play in the snow with. It's funny how just a few miles can make a world of difference between rain and snow but that's winter weather in the TarHeel state. Odds are you will get in on the action later on in the Winter season.

We had a couple hours of freezing drizzle yesterday evening and that coated the trees, really helping this wetter snow stick to everything. Yardstick on the deck is at 20". I am sure you have already posted this, but what was the final total up there? Hoping you ended up in a great spot!
FallsLake
Still lightly snowing. There's a band that keeps back feeding, but I'm not getting any more accumulation. I ended up with ~1" this morning. That actually takes me to 12" for the storm.
calculus1
We finished off with 14 inches of snowfall/sleet IMBY. There were light snow showers interspersed with drizzle this morning, but nothing that amounted to much. The temp rose above freezing around 5 PM last evening, and it has yet to fall back below. It has made light work for the plows, not having to fight the frozen tundra. The back deck has diminished to 9 inches due to melting and sublimation. Tonight should be a hard freeze, though. Yards and neighborhood roads still buried in E Durham, but we got snow literally all morning.

The rain yesterday didn’t help much. We had 9” but we only had about 4” when it stopped. We got another inch this morning though so that helped some. MJO812
Wow what an awesome storm for the south. Jealous we didn't get anything here in the northeast but I'm glad most of you saw a MECS.

With compaction 20" was the most uniform measurement. Back safely in Greenville, 421-40 were not bad, primary hazard is idiots driving with mini icebergs on their cars. SnowDeac
Any Atlanta/Athens folks gonna see a burst of snow here? Radar looks pretty juicy, but unsure on temps.

SnowDeac
Both the HRRR and RGEM show a decent burst for the SC midlands and SE NC tonight. Hope some our friends further south can sneak out a quick dusting/inch.
southernskimmer
Hoping I can get in on some of that action. Looks like that batch of precip in atl is expanding east. Would be a nice little surprise.

Poimen
I built this snow fort for my children. It was fun but a lot of work.
NCSNOW
Mount Mitchell had 34 inches from the storm. Think Boone was 21 officially. Both need to be confirmed. Amazing storm. I could get use to white ground 3 months out of the year.

Solak
NWS RaleighVerified account @NWSRaleigh 1m1 minute ago A light batch of mixed wintry precip may develop east of I-95 this evening. Amounts will be light, but even a light coating of snow/sleet on the roads can create travel difficulties. If traveling in this area this evening be alert for quickly changing road conditions. #ncwx

Looks like a pretty big batch so could be a few inches if all snow, but I think all its gonna do is wash away the little remaining snow.

Have some snow mixing in with the rain here currently and 36.5.....after a high of 42. Despite being totally saturated and having drizzle/heavy mist all day...Temp dropped 4 degrees in about an hour after the sun set and the precip that is originating upstairs actually started falling. Temps at 950mb to the surface are as marginal as they can get here so doubt it does any more than this before it ends but I think a full changeover is possible over toward greenwood/columbia since it's slightly colder there just off the ground per 3km nam and hrrr (if it lasts long enough). Been watching it all day but was scared to say anything out of jinxing it lol....sad.
