snowinnc
A little less than 7” in North Raleigh, about five miles from the Durham County line. I think I need to start saying Northwestern Wake County because even though we have a Raleigh address we aren’t near the city limits. I’m definitely surprised but our kids are thrilled. Sleet is mixing in with the snow now.
Poimen
At one time the HRRR was spitting out 2" per hour rates in the Triad around 9-10 this morning. This incoming band could be it.

We might get some freezing rain at the very end of the storm but I'm thinking we are good until then. Temperature has dropped from 30.5 to 29.3 in the last couple hours and looking at radar it looks as if we have a couple more hours of sleet. That heavy band has moved out and back to light sleet now at my place.
NCBlizzard
Just measured 8.5" as the snow was turning to sleet. The trees are loaded with snow so any freezing rain could mean big problems

PackGrad05
Southern Wake near Fuquay. My snow is almost melted. It is just a slushy/muddy mess in the yard now. We tried to play outside in it, but it wasn't happening. Roads are almost clear too, just wet and a little slushy.
NCWeSU
Just under 7 inches in Cary, near Preston. Lost a couple of feet off one cedar tree and two large branches on another.

PackGrad05
This is about what I predicted for southern Wake. We had a quick 1.5" of snow.. It is almost gone now. Wet, slushy mess. Was pretty to look at for a couple hours. The Wake gradient strikes again! Take it to the bank each storm!
