powderfreak
The amount of snow at the ski resort driving up the road is obscene. It's like 10 foot snowbanks on 108 up here. There's been 31" of fluff since it rained last Thursday up high. The Stake had to hit 100". Will be looking for proof.

J.Spin
There’s been some fairly heavy snowfall this morning in the Burlington area – driving through Williston mid-morning the visibility was down to about a tenth of a mile at times. It’s starting to clear out to blue skies now though.

It has been one of the snowiest January's I can remember. 25" on the ground in town at 750ft and an honest 4 feet on the ground at 1,500ft. And February and March are still to come. It is mind blowing the disparity between here and SNE. I didn't think it was possible to be this polarized.

Thought it would be higher, guess the lack of orographic and distance from Coastal storms is the reason--not sure though. Actually looking at BTV--it would be top 5, so guess its within range. tamarack
Late arriving patch of SN- over Augusta atm. This event boosts the month's snow to 32-33", maybe more if we squall. Won't reach the 36.8" of 14-15, but al least I was home for all of it this year.

alex
It's funny to look at your P&C and see an avalanche watch lol GYX doesn't seem very concerned with the warmup. Snow almost every day next week except rain/snow on Tuesday with a high of 36. I assume that will have to be changed if op models are right about
wxeyeNH
1.5" in a wicked squall around 645pm. Wish it had been light outside. I could not see anything past 100-200 feet during the height of it. I posted this vid in the obs thread. Approaching 70" for the season. Going to take a long break now.
wxeyeNH
Here's another video of the squall from the other part of the house. It's interesting when snowfall is reported, light, moderate or heavy. Generally when it's under 1/4 mile its heavy snow but this is like 100-200 visibility snow. So much heavier than anything I have ever seen synoptically.
