MillvilleWx
Any guys tied to it?Nah. I don’t think any balloon we have can lift me off the ground lol. We do have to bring it out of the Upper Air shelter and the balloon does not cooperate in those winds. It pulls you and wants to take off. Strongest wind I’ve launched in so far. . PrinceFrederickWx
My wife is pregnant with our 3rd child- I have an hour's drive up to Annapolis with her for a scan on Dec. 27. This is the one appt. that cannot be rescheduled. You can bet on us getting shutout this entire month EXCEPT a region-wide MECS on that day, trust me. North Balti Zen
It feels to me like the MJO never gets "stuck" in favorable phases. Whips right through those bad boys as fast as humanly possible...to get stuck in the circle of death.

EastCoast NPZ
The good news is that post-nino summers are usually scorchers. Rainy winters and scorching summers; what's not to love? Hooray for El-Nino!

caviman2201
Personally I'm ready for our early spring this year... The endless winter last year really wreaked havoc on the bass spawn lol... I decided a week ago to just check in once a day to see if anything was cooking and if it wasn't, move on. Some here need to take a deep breath, realize that winter has barely begun and let weather happen. Freaking out over every single 384 hr look is insane. Maestrobjwa
These are the times where I wish I didn't care if it snows or not...mercy. When things in the LR look bleak, it's so much negative emotion...it's like a bad relationship that you keep going back to only to get hurt again, and again--and yet I can't stop caring. During the winter months, my overall outlook/mood is either brightened or darkened depending on what's going on with the weather...and I am on this site constantly. I know that ain't no way to live, but this is like a drug I can't quit--no matter how many times it hurts me. I wish I wasn't handcuffed to this...but I'm a prisoner. Can't stop looking at this site and TT on the Zs...happy when things look good, a little more depressed when they don't...mercy.

The weather in January I mean..the Vegas trip however sounds awesome! Always stay at the Golden Nugget downtown but decided to throw a little twist into it this time. Will spend our first 3 days down at the Tropicana on the strip. Spend some time walking and riding their rail system visiting all the different casinos. And eating some of their great buffets.
