SnowGolfBro
This is the biggest Euro run of the afternoon. Be curious if it follows the Ukie or has a hook up with F$&”$@& Victorious-3.

IIRC that was brought up for the Dec 9 2017 storm when it was one of the only models showing precip reaching into DC and points West about 2 days or so before the storm

nj2va
That’s a pretty healthy stream of moisture flowing in on the STJ into our storm on the Euro.

I'm 99% confident the stj is gonna be fine here. The issue will be whether the NS wants to play nice.
psuhoffman
So far at 96 the stj is more amped with more ridging in the miss valley and confluence is relaxed in the Midwest...but the flow is even more suppressive over New England so it might be a wash. Exactly. Which is why being ‘in the game’ (central VA hit) is important since I think some of the ridging out in front of the storm is probably a tad underdone. Stronger vorts rotating down through the Great lakes. Looks like its a touch slower in the south west so we can move those on through.

psuhoffman
It looks way more suppressive over New England than the Fv3 but it's also slower so maybe it gets out of the way.

Bob Chill
We need the magic 8 ball dropping down from the upper midwest to phase and blow things up enough to fight off the confluence.

winterymix
The EURO is showing a 30.60 surface HIGH pressing down across PA. at hour 120. No wonder so many models are suppressed.

psuhoffman
euro is trying that late save thing... its not gonna get it done this run but it moved that way. Dives a piece of the NS in behind and tries to open the door a day later. UK was even more pronounced at 144 with that idea.
