kevlon62
Was not in town but apparently we started as snow up here with some IP. Never any liquid in the mix.Just shoveled out a driveway with what was surprisingly not the heart attack snow I was expecting. Ratios really helped it stack early for a nice head start before the main show tonight.Clearly though, the more intense trowel features seem progged to pass to our south overnight. Hope you guys get nailed with the good stuff down there.Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
Sciascia
Still a rainer over here. LOT has been projecting the big snow issues starting at 8 in my area. Hopefully that occurs.

mimillman
Actually surprisingly dry in the loop. Expecting mostly rain until 10:00 or 11:00 and then we'll see the changeover.

sjm_888
Took a peek at the flight radar site and by the looks of it you'd never know there was a storm in NE IL. Chicago Storm
Numerous reports of 5-7” across the northern tier or so in the LOT CWA from that earlier initial FGEN band. That area will likely be the winner for the area in the end with the head start..

Natester
What would have been alot worse (in terms of rubbing salt in the wound) is if the cutoff line was in the Cedar Rapids metro, southern Cedar Rapids getting 6+ inches while northern Cedar Rapids getting nada. I take solace that none of Linn County got any snow.
