Thinksnow18
Update...intensity is moderate to almost +S and looks to be for about an hour or so with banding off Ontario and probably upstream from Georgian Bay. Will definitely get to if not over 6" on this pace.
CNY-WXFREAK
If the temp was 3F degrees colder we'd be looking at quite a bit of snow, that's a fact but it is still November and with this event we're nearing 35 for the month and the avg for Nov is 9.6", lol! +200% for the month of November, lol Lets just hope Dec-Jan-Feb follow suit. CNY_WX
I just measured 4.6 inches. I don’t know how accurate my LE will be because the snow just pileup on the opening to the cylinder. I’m going to let the snow melt as is and what goes in the tube will be counted and what falls outside won’t.
CNY-WXFREAK
I just took a measurement and I've eclipsed the 6" mark at 6.6" so not bad for overnight!

I had 5.3" snow and 0.71" liquid.
Thinksnow18
Approaching 7" if not at it...been moderate snow since about 5:30 with good flake size.
Buffalo Bumble
About 5” OTG here. That was my first measurement so storm total likely around 6”. “Storm” snow falling now - low grey sky, good flake size and intensity.

CNY_WX
After being stuck at 32 all night it just went up to 33. As we get closer to midday we may start having accumulation issues.

WNYLakeEffect
My parents in Lakewood got around a foot overnight, about 15-16" storm total, and still snowing steadily. Definitely more than I expected, given that they don't have the best elevation.

From Lakewood to NYC, that is quite the change! How do you like big city living?
wolfie09
I’ll have to measure soon, wouldn’t be surprised if we have at least 8”-9”.. We have been under heavy echoes all night and morning..
rochesterdave
It was a good setup. Being patient last evening and yesterday was tough. 5”+ in Irondequoit. 35. So accumulating was real tough. Still snowing hard at times.

Well, that snow map isn't accurate from Northern Monroe through Wayne as we easily have 4-5" within 3 miles of the lake shore. Also interesting to note that WWAs weren't added to Niagara/Orleans until radar showed them getting hit. Wonder why KBUF didn't see that coming as the models were showing them getting in the action as well.

Thinksnow18
In fact to be honest the whole Niagara frontier could've been under a WSW as it was 7" in a 12 hour period.

This was a good event for the Niagara escarpment- they don’t see a ton of snow.
