Seriously! What happened to the band??? It just completely dissipated and not one model showed that.
Yes they did, most models showed the band going to the north of the city into Niagara County and actually it's pretty much seeding the band that's affecting Watertown currently. But then this afternoon as the bandri intensifies as it heads back south and effect both the North and South Towns once again before sweeping through and finally ending up in the hills to the south of the city where it usually ends up. This is what I saw in the models anyway

Missing it by an exit or two lol

I live 6 miles almost due east of exit 36..

At 400 PM EST, A band of lake effect snow producing snow fall rates

near Sackets Harbor and Mannsville, inland to southern Watertown,
Adams, Copenhagen and Croghan. This band will remain steady state
through the late afternoon, before sliding southward early this
evening.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this band of lake effect
snow.

Locations impacted include...
Watertown, Sandy Island Beach State Park, Fort Drum, Stony Point,
Carthage, Lowville, West Carthage, Adams, Dexter, Glen Park,
Herrings, Highmarket, Adams Center, Southwick Beach State Park,
Henderson Harbor, Barnes Corners, Whetstone Gulf State Park, Denmark,
