usedtobe
got a whopping 0.60" of snow and then the deluge started. Not a good day, our thoughts two days ago were better than those yesterday. Kind of a bust.

Not a good day, our thoughts two days ago were better than those yesterday. Kind of a bust. Glad you got on the board! I think the CWG call was good. Have to lean low given climo this time of year. We don't get snowy busts too often, particularly at the low altitude/UHI spots in marginal conditions.

It just nudged everything a bit too far north for everyone to score. Still impressive that you managed over 0.5" in mid November though.

Mrs.J
6.75” in my back yard. Getting sleet now. Went over to the Frederick Scanner FB page and wow what a mess going on all over the county. A snow plow/salt truck has overturned on 70E. When the plows overturn just stay off the roads.
clskinsfan
Down to a light drizzle now. Finished up with just a little over 6 inches out here. Maybe a quick burst in the morning with the ULL? But regardless a great storm for any month of the year.
Jrlg1181
Sounds like a Civil War battlefield in eastern Augusta county near Waynesboro... limbs snapping and huge chunks of whole trees coming down..no snow just straight freezing rain, with some sleet..1.35 melted precip, with at least .4 inches of ice on the trees... Pines are taking a %$%#$ beating...

CatoctinRN
Trained spotter says 7.5 for Thurmont, MD which is about 9 miles to my south on MD 15. Steady sleet now, very gray skies. Will be interesting to see what falls on top during the night/early am. Looks like another snow day for the kids tomorrow most likely in Frederick County. Roads here are a royal mess.
