TV Mets were really bad at 11pm last night. Seemed lazy and fixed on “too early in season” aspect of it.

I sided with them last night. Hard to argue with climb especially when model consensus was late to correct.

I wondered about that.  Figured Mt. Airy area did much better as per usual.

I like that NWS broke HoCo and MoCo into eastern and western zones

got a whopping 0.60" of snow and then the deluge started.  Not a good day, our thoughts two days ago were better than those yesterday.  Kind of a bust.

Glad you got on the board!

I think the CWG call was good.  Have to lean low given climo this time of year.  We don't get snowy busts too often, particularly at the low altitude/UHI spots in marginal conditions.

It's a shame that we couldn't get the 500 low to be about 100 miles further south.  It just nudged everything a bit too far north for everyone to score.  Still impressive that you managed over 0.5" in mid November though.

Sounds like a Civil War battlefield in eastern Augusta county near Waynesboro... limbs snapping and huge chunks of whole trees coming down..no snow just straight freezing rain, with some sleet..1.35 melted precip, with at least .4 inches of ice on the trees... Pines are taking a %$%#$ beating...

Trained spotter says 7.5 for Thurmont, MD which is about 9 miles to my south on MD 15. Steady sleet now, very gray skies. Will be interesting to see what falls on top during the night/early am. Looks like another snow day for the kids tomorrow most likely in Frederick County. Roads here are a royal mess.
