My late Dad passed in mid June. Most of my family lives down here in Texas, so I moved here on Aug 26. Now I live here, but I might try to come back since I do have some friends up in Dale City lol.

You do know why this is going to be such an EPIC winter in the Mid Atlantic. Its because I am out of state. You'll get record snows. Enjoy!

Sorry about your dad :( winter will not be the same without you around.  Take care and thanks for all your weather enthusiasm you brought to the board.  I know you will post but it will just not be the same. Take care

Looks like you lucky SOBs in jackpotville might avoid sleet awhile longer. Mix line washing out and moving east toward BaltCo/HarCo.

Well, you're probably right about that. Being from Dundalk, I'm in the process of buying a home a bit west of Westminster. I'm in Taneytown for this one at the lady's place. Great location for jackpotville.

3" at home.  Managed to salvage a respectable event after a disastrous start.

I think you just worry / complain too much. It was supposed to start as mix, and western areas weren’t supposed to get into the action until late morning. The start was as expected. It would go snow in dc and those areas first due to heavy precip cooling the column
