A winter wonderland in November. No one can b**ch on this board until mid January now Absolutely beautiful out! Hard to believe it's only November 15th. This is going to be an epic winter! I'm positive EastCoast NPZ will find something to b**ch about though....

wolfpackwxDC
1 inch of snow on the deck before the sleet storm started in North Arlington. Neighborhood roads gave in around 7:30 and are already starting to clear. Bottomed out at 30 at 8:30 and now, at ~9:30, already up to 31.5. WxUSAF
12z NAM has the strong frontogenesis band move through from 17-21z from south to north. But soundings look pretty warm by that time.
midatlanticweather
When precip lightens up, my DP is low - 27 now. Still mainly snow - little heavy bursts keep on and off happening to take the few pingers back to snow - but accumulation rates have decreased. At least the sleet will continue to accumulate on the roads, and it should be moderate to heavy sleet for at least a few hours, if not longer.
