Welp, MontCo gonna stick with opening 2 hours late - only ones west of I-95 looks like.  They'll be glad they did because they only built in two (!) snow days for the winter.

Mod snow now with no sleet mixed in.  About a half inch.

they're hedging their bets on a big winter i think

i hope the kiddos are okay

Ahhh, tell me it's going to be one of those homemade soup days you're famous for, @Mrs.J...

33/29 at Fort Belvoir, still w/ moderate snow. Everything covered...a lot more (.5" ?) than in this pic, which was snapped 30 minutes ago.

It just may be. Roads have caved up here. If not soup baking including a bacon, asparagus, mushroom quiche for dinner.

Moderate snow with large flakes and 31, coating on everything.  Streets caving like FSU's defense.

Montgomery County schools sticking to their two-hour delay.

Just drove on the roads and I have to say I’m not doing that again. Skidded just turning left out of the parking lot. Drive safe y’all.

“Roads caved”

Can we please stop saying this? How many times do you all need to witness it snow after it is warm to understand that the roads don’t hold their temperature? Good lord. IF ITS COLD ENOUGh to snow it can stick to the roads.

Anyway... pouring sleet and flakes mixing in Ellicott City. Expecting a full changeover shortly.

Have your roads caved?
