TJW014
They're only forecasting a high of 37 where I am today. Yesterday they said 44. And that's right on the water. Currently 39 here. Forecast to stay at that then gradually cool in the first few hours of precipitation

NJwx85
12Z sounding near OKX already showed the beginnings of warm air between 700-850. Look how dry the 850mb layer is though. https://www.spc.noaa.gov/exper/soundings/18111512_OBS/

NJwx85
Wet bulb temps look good with most areas still well below freezing. We're going to snow for a decent time if the precip comes in hot and heavy and the radar certainly indicates it could. Quite a dry layer near 850mb that is going to need to be overcome first though. I’m in Central Park today and I will personally go and measure and show you guys It doesn’t matter how far north you are with an east flow in November, your missing the point. In this case west is best. And go back and re-read my post I said 2” at 120th and Broadway. I’m only about 2 miles from where they take the snow obs in Central Park.
