Ralatively cold and snowy December periods in NYC

I left out the storms with two day cold between 60 degree days...1970-71 had 6" of snow New Years day...1989 was left out for lack of snow...1984 and 1990 for lack of cold...there were nine good periods from 1959 to 1970...12 yrs...nine good ones since 2000...18 yrs...none from 1984 to 1992...
