USCAPEWEATHERAF
18z GFS is producing a train of systems within the sub-tropical jet stream the next two weeks, could provide the region with big nor'easter's capable of a lot of snow. USCAPEWEATHERAF
I was stupid to jump ship earlier with the ocean effect, the snow is finally coming, the 850mb winds have shifted to the north, while the surface winds are a little more northwesterly still. Convergence is increasing along with the omega in the snow growth zone the HRRR was showing.

BOS tied their record low max of 24F for the date. It should be noted though that the old record low max was in 1880 at the old site further from the water. The 24F max temp was the coldest recorded in the month of November since the site was moved to Logan Airport in 1935.

It did tie the record from 1880 and I've added it to my list. The Logan Airport record was 29°, which was set in 2008.

40/70 Benchmark
Euro trying a bit for the mid week deal...a little less interaction with the northern system allows it to track a bit further southeast...throws me a couple of inches. Still not too excited about it, but one more decent trend would be interesting. The SW should be onshore in 24 hours, so tomorrow night will be more definitive. CoastalWx
Somebody asked how the weeklies were. Week three and week four started getting that black hole look near Alaska. Hopefully they were too aggressive with that. They have not been the most accurate at that time. But a bit discouraging there.
