And yes the one guy from NE CT is MIA because he was one of the ones that was very gung ho for snow on snow today and Tuesday and end of week etc etc and....well.... you know the rest. Expand Most time's yes....It would come just up to Lawrence and alot of time stall out there and eventually back down. Not all the time, but alot of the time it had a hard time pushing through. It's a decent spot, as I said not great for t-storms, although a microburst went through just north of the fire station a couple of years ago. Always a good spot for wind, if you are into that. If the wind begins to turn more toward the east I know the CF will soon pass by. If the wind is more to the NE or N I know the CF is going to have a difficult time pushing further to the N and W. I recall that microburst. And I toured the area after it hit. Some homes had tree limbs all over them while houses 2 doors down had only minor tree damage. Expand One of my favorite weather events was also a October snowstorm in North Carolina so I totally get it haha. But yeah, that winter was absolutely terrible down south too. Expand Yeah....but I will also warn you, that Methuen, plays with fire a bit, and likes to be close to/in the exhaust. That October snowstorm, we got jack....just sat in the exhaust the whole storm..ended with like 5", didn't have to go too far west to get into the good snows.
