I hope to make a lot of photos this winter, but unfortunately our snowy amounts have been on a deep fall since the '80s here in northern Italy, due the exceptional warming trend of the past 30-40 years in Europe. Just to say: between the 1961-1989 serie and the 1990-2017 one, the average decrease of the yearly snow in Po Valley has been -36%. Here in my area it's even bigger, by 50% The fact that the majority of our snowfalls happened/happens usually around 32°F, of course increase the effects (on the snow averages) of a warming trend in winter temperatures.
