CoraopolisWx
00z 3k NAM tucks that 850 vort just south of us, keeping us mostly frozen. More so than other storms, the 850's are really running the show.
KPITSnow
I am going to sleep after the gfs, but I might set an alarm for the euro lol
dj3
At this point if the gfs shifts south at all I’ll consider it a win.

jwilson
NAM verbatim looks like ~1 hour of sleet in extreme southern Allegheny, obviously longer points south, but otherwise is all snow. It's still very close to too much WAA despite the primary shift from northern WV to southern. Talk about threading the needle.
dj3
Rgem shifted south as well. Let’s keep this going
Rd9108
Idt it can possibly get better than the 3k NAM in this set up.
jwilson
The ICON didn't really change at all, but in fairness it's a lesser model. I don't know if it has any biases. If the GFS and/or Euro look the same and don't follow the NAM, then it's a concern.
north pgh
NAM is a good start. Next 3 hours will be key to continue trend.
pghwx
GFS is a touch south at hour 48. Still shows mixing in PGH.

I'll take it. 100 miles S from the 18z to the 00z. Don't forget too what the GFS looked light 24 hours ago. The L has moved east by about 200 miles
dj3
That’s a huge shift on the gfs as well. Anxiously waiting on the ukie and euro
north pgh
I think GFS is definitely improvement. It takes the low thru West Virginia now instead of pa. Brings heavier snow into allegheny county. Hopefully the warm air surge is overdone and we can hold on to the cold for the southern part of the county. If Canadian comes south then we are back in the game.
MikeB_01
PV is clearly pushing down more on these 00z runs of the NAM and GFS. Helping to keep the warm air at bay
