The 4 Seasons
It's downright cold today where i am, 44F in Waterbury at noon. Some places are flirting with Low Max records but will probably ending up being just shy.
wxeyeNH
Around 40F all morning with light rain. Meanwhile 1500 feet away it was snowing. (Above me). Cat paw season has begun up here. Hey, that would be a good name for a handle AMWX. Only us weenies would know the significance.

Typhoon Tip
this morning's rains were dappled with blues in the ptypes as it was ... Not hard to imagine that as this pattern only deepens in the coming days and climo too, how/why those typically inflated snow products would flare up like that. Typhoon Tip
This Thursday morning is setting up to be an impressive cold blast. 850 mb approaching -10 C with 30 + wind gust routine.

powderfreak
BTV mentioning a dusting to an inch even in the mountain valleys mid-week with up to 3" above 1,500ft. Keep an eye out for that foliage and snow combo... snowliage. "Depending on how much snow falls on the higher elevations, and the amount of leaves left on the trees, we could have some nice snowliage Thursday afternoon/evening with some breaks of sunshine possible." Pessimism aside, the pattern does look chilly and fairly active.

WinterWolf
Oh I agree it'll be gone....but was just curious if it was tropical that's all. Not much else to talk about as of now...so I thought I'd inquire about what it was depicting??

ORH_wxman
Maybe a shot at first flakes for some on late Wednesday/wed night. It would likely be interior and prob toward Berkshires from leftover lake effect streamers but a few of them could carry east with the vorticity moving through. Could be graupel too. NNE mountains will def get some snow showers.
