If you really want to see a gas station literally get shredded, YouTube “Hurricane Charley intense eyeball winds” one of the most impressive videos I’ve ever seen. This blows the Charley video out of the water. (No pun intended). Hands down the worst eyewall footage I’ve ever seen.

Stebo
Had hail earlier at my house and a couple of thunderstorms with gusts around 50. One of the better storms all year in one of the oddest setups in while.

Chambana
Brrrr we dropped down to 22 this morning. I just read a tweet that Anchorage, AK has broken 14 record highs since September 1st, holy cow.
King James
Came home to a blown down fence yesterday, dogs got loose, and we lost power for 13 hours. Rough day in Kankakee county but was fun to watch that front blow through. Today is a new day.. power is on, dogs are safe, and Bears are going to beat the Pats. Go Bears!. michsnowfreak
Had a little sleet and it looked like a bit of wet snow too, mix in with the driving rain last evening. It was just a very little bit, but the frozen precip kickoff to the 2018-19 season.

Even more impressive is that the lowest temp so far in October is 38. That is crazy. If this type of pattern can take hold for awhile during winter, we’ll be in good shape. Almost has to. That late month storm is looking more like an east coast deal but it would be nice to phase that earlier and get it farther west. That is one helluva storm for somebody if it phases properly.
