Hoosier
Downwind of Lake Michigan could put up some big gusts later (60+), especially near the shore... very deep mixing and less friction.
stormtrackertf
Bout to get a thumping from this line of thunderstorms, under a severe thunderstorm warning for 60 MPH gusts. I would imagine there's some small hail up in Oakland county with the stronger returns.

The trees on my block are still almost all green with almost all their leaves so wonder about the branches.
CoalCityWxMan
Had a very heavy period of snow in Dekalb, began to stick to the grass and rooftops before it ended. The winds also caused some minor damage, including knocking a stoplight off its post and causing it to dangle in the wind

Hoosier
Winds a little underwhelming here. Not bad but not great. Was in a weaker part of the "line" as it came through which probably explains it.

cyclone77
Had a period of 50-55mph gusts around midday. The sky has gotten a bit hazy from all the dust being lofted through the mixing layer. Dews have plummeted to below 20 degrees for the first time this season. That main squall that tracked from southern WI into northern IN reminds me of the Feb 2003 event out this way. Basically a severe thunderstorm with snow.

Chicago WX
Crazy day. Had two bouts of snow and high wind gusts. Second one had pretty heavy snow really. Bunch of trees down where I was today...2 fell on cars and 1 on top of a house. Nobody hurt thankfully. I don't get paid enough to be out in these elements.
