MotoWeatherman
Flakes are flying again here on Beech. Super light but flakes non-the-less. Temp is down to 13 already. Snow flurries and snow showers should max out towards sunrise then end quickly in the AM. Thursday night early Friday is looking...MEH.

This winter has been a rollercoaster, to say the least.
AirNelson39
Monitoring a Weather Flow Sonic Anemometer at Seven Devils today in this wind event I am impressed with the wind updating in real time Not bad for $299. Anyone else expiremented with one yet?https://smartweather.weatherflow.com/share/5094/gridIt looks like your wind meter is having some issues. It’s been way off since about 8pm last night. Maybe it got blown over or something?

Met1985
Well we are getting a wintry mix this morning of snow, sleet, and freezing rain. Good times.

SnoJoe
Had a half inch overnight and another half with a burst around mid-morning. A slow rise in temps today to a high right now of 36.2. I only need another half to reach 40 for the year. The big storm coming the first week of April should put me over 50.
AirNelson39
It’s getting to be pretty embarrassing regarding what they cancel school over these days. We had wet snow for a few hours mid day and they cancelled for Watauga. I think even Floridians would laugh at the calls they make now.

There's no strategy to making the call for delays/closing school. Most districts have a protocol...but it's tough...like hunting crows at night. Radar seems to backup what I’m seeing of the heavy rain having moved past down here but you are right, that wind is no joke. Even in my protected spot it is howling.

Met1985
I welcome more cold weather but with the time change it will be nice to have the sun out longer. The march toward spring is right around the corner.
