Double bonus to have it come to us earlier than normal. Couldn't ask for a better group to have fun doing this with. I swear Blizz of 93 tracks for about 21 hours a day this time of year. Yes, this is a bonus indeed! I enjoy our group & all of the personalities! CTP bumped up the Warning snow amounts to 3-5 inches in the Harrisburg area & surrounding counties. 2001kx
28/19 NWS upped the forecast to 5-8 in there WSW text for here. Seems like anytime sleet is mentioned here it ruins the day (snow accums) but well see.
Bubbler86
Latest HRRR keep almost everyone frozen into dinnertime/6PMish at which point many southeastern areas start to get dry slotted. Most of the 11 hours between now and then is pure snow.

Itstrainingtime
Horst: (Lanco area) @MUweather No changes this AM...as snow & sleet will spread across LanCo during the mid-morning hours. A few hours of heavy precipitation will fall here btwn ~11am - 4pm...but what type of precip will it be? If it's mostly snow, then we'll be plowing...but I believe it may be more so sleet. Yea the SLP is sitting in eastern Deleware at the time. Too close for the eastern half of the state especially in November. Dryslot and warm advection. Bubbler86
First flakes are falling in far southern Franklin County. They are a little "graupely" right now. Temp dropped 2 -3 degrees as the column saturated 26.7 right now. Its coming for everyone!
Voyager
Virga overhead per radar. Interesting reading from the Mid Atlantic forum. The DC area is getting blasted with snow now, and a new term for this winter was alsocreated. The snow no longer sticks to the roads. The new way to describe it is that the roads "caved"...lmao! MAG5035
Initial bout of light precip started as a light sleet here and it’s around 30. It’s still working out the dry air and hasn’t really done much yet. I wouldn’t sweat things starting out as sleet or surface temps a little close to freezing. The issue will be aloft and as the precip starts it may start as sleet as the column cools from wet bulbing
