Today turned into such a mess I think because the plows were likely waiting to start plowing/treating the roads but then schools/businesses/etc started closing and roads turned into total gridlock before plows could do anything and now it’s too late. Did some more measurements and am over 8" but not going to quibble beyond saying 8-9". Still think someone in N Frankilin County will come in over a foot. anotherman Posted November 15, 2018 Share Posted November 15, 2018 This storm reminds me of the December 8th, 2013 storm. Very similar. First snowstorm, precipitation type was unclear. Google re-routed onto back roads (that of course were untouched) because of the accident on the turnpike. Cars off the road everywhere. I don’t know the wind chill for 550mph and this temp. as for Carlisle my wife reports between 8.8” and 9.0” before sleet. She reports heavy sleet now. What a day and night.
