Sounds like your itching for winter

Nah, I'm itching to not need a shower after I pick up the mail or take the trash out. Baby steps. Fall is my favorite season to enjoy weather. Winter is my favorite to track weather. I don't want to rush through the enjoyable season.

I’m at 2.65”.  You are trouncing me.

quick edit - 1.25” of that was in the hours after midnight on the 1st.  1.40” from the morning of the first to present.

Out to an early lead, but 70% of my total came 2 Fridays ago.  I suspect that lead will be erased by month's end.

Dewpoints have been in the 70s for most of the time here since July here in Bahamasboro, MD. Amazing how long it's been both hot and humid for that long..

Tonight is the 99999th installment of muggy nights

And although it isn't perfect, that is why I am here and not there. Was in upper 50's this morning.

Odds increasing of our first late summer continental airmass dropping innext week. Still a bit early so it might not make it here. Low dews and low 80's sounds good on paper though.

Odds are HIGH that my last week of August will be enjoyable as headed to visit son in your old stomping grounds :)

I looked and warmest day on extended  while there is  68, most mornings forecast near freezing.

Disgusting out there this morning

Sure is.  I was just out heavily watering my parched flower beds (no, I do not expect any rain this weekend).  Not only very muggy but very buggy too.  Damn these invasive mosquitoes that bite all day and the ticks!  I just got finished with 31 days of strong antibiotics because of one of those darn things (Lyme infection).

But fall is coming!  Football and good weather!

Get ready for an incredible kick ass winter. Get at least five Jebman Shovels. You WILL get tired of shoveling snow in Washington this winter, the Winter of 2018-2019. So go out and buy at least TWO snowblowers. This winter will be beyond EPIC in the Washington Metropolitan Region.

Let's see how good ol' Stephens City does here.  Anyone got some CAPE numbers for central MD?  It is sooooo hot out there.
