Got sprinkled on for 2 hours yesterday while storms missed to my south, north, and west.  Could never even wet the ground.

that might actually be more than what i received and i was driving all over moco yesterday.  i imagine noaa will be having some lessons learned about this one.  i don't care how others did, if i'm under a flash flood watch and the most i get is sprinkles, then that's a problem.  the sky didn't look ripe at all for storms here yesterday.  it looked disorganized and when that happens for some reason i feel like we have a difficult time with precip.

There is a very good chance I receive no measurable at all for this whole advertised period.  East of the blue ridge will get theirs by monday.

I experience small hail driving from Logan WV early this morning after sunrise northeast of charleston WV. Lots of CG lightning and very heavy rain on and off for a half hour. Was foggy for several hours until about 11 AM coming through a lot of the subforum. Now i'm back home sweet home in Goldsboro MD.

Healthy bow starting to develop. Low-level shear isn't anything to write home about, but average boundary layer flow is easterly, which should maximize convergence. Effective bulk shear is around 40 knots though, so this could become a prolific wind producer if that cold pool continues to develop and/or a nice bookend vortex can get going.
