NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORTHERN INDIANA
935 AM EDT MON JUL 23 2018 /835 AM CDT MON JUL 23 2018/

...A SECOND TORNADO CONFIRMED FROM THE JULY 20TH SEVERE WEATHER EVENT...

A SECOND TORNADO WAS CONFIRMED FROM DAMAGE THAT OCCURRED ON JULY 20
2018. DETAILS OF THIS TORNADO CAN BE FOUND BELOW. THIS TRACK IS
PRELIMINARY WITH ADDITIONAL CHANGES POSSIBLE AS MORE INFORMATION
IS OBTAINED. 

IN ADDITION, EXTENSIVE TREE DAMAGE OCCURRED IN AND AROUND SILVER 
LAKE, IN WHERE NUMEROUS TREES WERE UPROOTED, SOME FALLING ONTO 
HOMES. AT THIS TIME, IT APPEARS THE DAMAGE WAS CAUSED BY STRAIGHT 
LINE WINDS ESTIMATED BETWEEN 70 AND 80 MPH.

START TIME:             153 PM EDT
START LOCATION:         5.9 SW OF BREMEN IN
START LAT/LON:          41.3823/-86.2197

END DATE:               JULY 20 2018
END TIME:               155 PM EDT
END LOCATION:           5.4 SW OF BREMEN IN
END_LAT/LON:            41.3874/-86.2129

DRONE PICTURES INDICATE THAT A DISORGANIZED TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN
SOUTHWEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF COUNTY ROAD 6B AND IRONWOOD 
ROAD. THE NW CORNER OF A BARN SUFFERED DAMAGE TO A CINDER BLOCK 
WALL. CORN WAS OBSERVED LAID DOWN IN A SEMI CONVERGENT PATTERN AS THE
TORNADO MOVED NORTHEAST ACROSS 6B AND EVENTUALLY IRONWOOD ROAD 
WHERE SOME TREE BRANCHES WERE BROKEN ALONG ISSAC SELLS DITCH. THE 
TORNADO LIFTED AT THIS POINT WITH NO FURTHER DAMAGE NOTED.

Appears my video of the rotation going overhead was moments before the report ENE of Ankeny, forwarded it to DMX. Didn't think it was going to drop that quickly or I would've followed it sooner. Pella got extremely lucky, EF2-3 damage would've been over practically all of town if it the track was only 1-2 miles back to the west.
