Lower dews are 25 miles to your north.  Dew was 73F at 4pm and is falling steadily to 66F now.  I can feel the difference, so much more comfortable.

Amazingly true.  Past 2 hours from 73F to 66F and it feels so refreshing.  We only usually run the 2 AC's a few afternoons each summer but they have been going non stop the past several days.  Maybe we can shut em down tonight and open windows.

Funny how Seabreeze front was over my head yesterday, no storms. No its over my east and amplifying that cell. Wish we could switch days!

Look at the way lightning hugs Southern portion of the cell's rotation.

Just had a trio of three close lightning strikes in Southie. I wonder if these boundaries are about to form another cell over head.

Looking out off my deck.. Have promising tcu to north and northeast. Need it to pop in next few minutes or it's just another hot and humid day. Can see bubbling top off cell over harbor.

Tcu really bubbling now nw of town. Can see through a break in low level clouds. Base looks dry. Could easily see this capped off

Saw they had Lahiff from WFO BTV on The Weather Channel discussing the heat records up this way...mainly the new all-time highest minimum temperature.  

The news around here has also been all over the Mount Mansfield all-time max record too.

At Mansfield?  

Yesterday tied the old record of 84F set in 1999.  The day before was 83F which was #2 but moves to #3.  

1988 must've been a hot summer as 4 of the top 10 max temps are from that summer.  This summer now owns 2 of the top 3 record max temps.  

What's interesting to me though, is that in the dead of winter you can see temps of like 55F up there in a severe cutter... but in the hottest of the hot in summer the temps are only 25-30F more.

Thankful for the drier air mass that came in this morning.

The mountain valley air conditioner is back with a 14 degree drop in 2 hours with sunset.  Finally some radiating.

Was sitting on the porch at the golf course after playing and it almost felt chilly lol. AC off at home now for the first time since Friday and all windows open.
